The Ambani family has arrived in full force at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai for Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant. Videos of the family dancing at the baraat have been going viral on the internet.

Pastel hues dominated the Ambani family’s attire for the evening, with the exception of Shloka Mehta’s stunning hot pink lehenga adorned with crystals. Anant Ambani, mirroring his mother Nita Ambani’s choice to a certain extent, donned a stylish rust orange sherwani. The whole family was wearing custom-made outfits from designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla.

Isha Ambani mirrored her mother’s elegance at Anant’s baaraat procession, both donning custom-made ‘Ranghaat’ ghagras. Their outfits, crafted in a captivating pastel peach hue, showcased the intricate artistry of dense zardozi hand embroidery.

Isha’s ghagra perfectly complemented her mother’s, exuding a dazzling display of craftsmanship. The vibrant multi-coloured katori blouse, crafted from naqshi and saadi gold, added another layer of shimmering beauty. Swarovski crystals, meticulously sewn onto the blouse, further accentuated the opulent look.

Isha styled the look with a decadent diamond necklace and matching earrings.

A warm moment unfolded as Mukesh Ambani posed for photos with his children and their spouses – Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Isha Ambani, and Anand Piramal. Laughter filled the air as Akash playfully calmed the enthusiastic paparazzi who called out their names. Isha, ever gracious, offered a heartfelt thank you with folded hands before they departed.

Today, July 12, marks the beginning of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities. The first ceremony, the auspicious Shubh Vivah, will follow traditional Indian attire. The subsequent events on July 13 (Shubh Aashirwad) and 14 (Mangal Utsav) will adhere to Indian formal and Indian chic dress codes, respectively. All celebrations will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC, Mumbai.

Despite the undeniable grandeur of the event, experts like Nitin Chaudhary, founder of NC Financial Advisory Services, emphasize that the Ambani family’s spending represents a small fraction of their overall wealth. It’s estimated that they’re dedicating “only 0.5% of their net worth” to the wedding, a significant contrast to the 5-15% typically spent by Indian families on such occasions.
