Priyanka Chopra stuns in a 43 million dollar neckpiece at Bulgari’s 140th year anniversary

Priyanka Chopra Jonas served old Hollywood glamour at Bulgari’s 140th anniversary wearing the iconic Serpenti Aeterna necklace. The jewellery is studded with 140 carat diamonds, each signifying a year of Bulgari’s history, and took 2,800 hours of craftsmanship.

Most high-valued at the launch of the Aeterna collection, the Serpenti has a rough diamond above 20 carats shaped into seven pear drops, set within a 3D structure comprising 698 baguette diamonds. The piece is valued at 43 million dollars. Bulgari posted about it on Instagram saying,

“140 YEARS, 140 CARATS ?
A source of immense pride for the Maison, the Bvlgari High Jewelry Serpenti Aeterna necklace is a testament to 140 years of heritage and innovation. The iconic Serpenti assumes a discreet yet majestic role as the clasp, guarding this anniversary masterpiece.”

Chopra Jonas, one of the brand ambassador of the luxury fashion house, rocked an off-shoulder black and white number by Del Core, paired with a chic short bob and a dab of colour on her lips. She kept the rest of her accessories and makeup simple and understated, letting the extravagant Serpenti do the talking.

Bulgari celebrated their anniversary in Rome, at the Italian heritage venue Terme di Diocleziano, popularly known as The Baths of Diocletian, as a homage to their roots. The exclusive event boasted of a gala dinner and a Carine Roitfeld showcase of high jewels, bags, time pieces and fragrances. Chopra Jonas was joined by American actress Anne Hathaway and friends of the Italian fashion house, Shu Qi and Liu Yifei.

In a second photoshoot, the actress wore a structured archival Giorgio Armani gown with a plunging neckline, fitted bodice and thigh high slit. A diamond choker with sapphire gems from the House of Bulgari added drama to her ensemble.

Chopra Jonas donned black shades, a tennis bracelet and diamond earrings to complete her look. Keeping her makeup in tune with the look, she opted for a soft plum lip, a smokey wing and lots of bronzer for the editorial glam.
