Women accuse social media influencer Andrew Tate of rape and strangling: Report

Two women have accused social media influencer Andrew Tate of raping and strangling them. They shared their experiences in a BBC interview. A third woman has also alleged that Andrew’s younger brother, Tristan Tate, raped her.

The Tate brothers, aged 37 and 36, face charges in Romania for human trafficking and sexual exploitation, with Andrew also charged with rape. They deny all allegations and could face over 10 years in prison if convicted.

Andrew Tate, currently under house arrest in Romania, is also being investigated for additional crimes, including sex with a minor and trafficking underage people. There are claims involving 34 more women.

In the BBC Panorama program, two British women, not linked to the Romanian case, described attacks by Andrew Tate from over 10 years ago in Luton, UK.

Anna (not her real name) reported being raped and strangled by Andrew in 2013. She had informed police in 2014, but no charges were filed due to insufficient evidence.

Sienna (a pseudonym) recounted being strangled by Andrew during sex, leading to her losing consciousness. She had visible injuries and was deeply traumatized by the experience.

The BBC has learned of five UK women who allege Andrew strangled them during sex. He denies these claims, asserting he has never harmed anyone.

Tristan Tate is also accused by Daisy, who claims he raped her after she moved to Romania to work for their webcam business. Daisy did not report the rape to police.

The Tate brothers face additional legal challenges in the UK related to rape and human trafficking. They continue to refute all accusations.
