‘Aapki kasam kha raha fir nahi todunga’: Rinku Singh asks for another bat from Virat Kohli ahead of KKR vs RCB clash

Kolkata Knight Riders player (KKR) Rinku Singh ahead of the side’s clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) would reveal he broke the bat given to him by RCB’s talisman Virat Kohli. The former asks the latter to give him another bat ahead of the clash between the sides at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday.

In a video released by KKR on social media between Rinku and Kohli here’s how the conversation unfolded.

Rinku Singh: Spinner pe toot gaya bat (I broke the bat (you gave) against a spinner.)

Virat Kohli: Mera bat (My bat?)

Rinku Singh: Haa(Yes.)

Virat Kohli: Spinner pe thod diya tumne Kaha se toota (You broke it against a spinner? Where did you break it from?)

Rinku Singh: Ye fat gaya pura idhar se (From the middle)

Virat Kohli: Toh mai kya karu bhai? (What should I do then?)

Rinku Singh: Kuch nehi, mai bata raha tha (I was just informing you.)

Virat Kohli: Bekar bat hein yaar (This bat is no good)

During the first game between the sides earlier in the tournament in Bengaluru Kohli gave Rinku his bat as a token of appreciation for the Rinku.

Rinku Singh: Toh bhej rahe ho aap (Are you sending one?)

Rinku Singh: lo yaar! Rakh lo. (You can keep it)(returns Kohli’s bat to him)

Virat Kohli: Ek match pehle le gaya tu bat. 2 match mein tujhe 2 bat dhu? Teri Vajah se na jo meri baadmein haalat hoti heina (You took a bat from me previously. Now you want second bat in second game? Because of you, I face consequences later.)

Rinku Singh: Aap ki kasam kha raha hu fir nahi todunga kabhi bat toot ke rakhi hai aapko dikatha hu (I swear on you, won’t break the bat again. I can show you the broken bat.)
