Watch: Virat Kohli teases Rohit Sharma at Wankhede during MI vs RCB clash

Virat Kohli was in his elements on Thursday during Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.

In a video that has surfaced on the social media, Kohli can be seen giving a pat on the back to his India captain Rohit Sharma in the middle of the over. In the return, Rohit can be seen giving a thumbs up to his India teammate and the duo shared a laugh.

In an event recently, Kohli has also opened up about Rohit Sharma and the relation they have shared over the years.

“We (I and Rohit Sharma) played together in the last 15-16 years. It’s been amazing journey we’ve shared together. We never thought that we would be left with 2-3 senior players. It’s been a great journey tigether,” Kohli said.

In the same event Kohli also lauded Rohit’s leadership skills.

“I have seen Rohit Sharma’s growth as a player and everything he has done in his career. Now he is leading the Indian team, it has been amazing.”

Earlier in the match Kohli, the former India and RCB captain was seen asking fans to stop booing the home captain Hardik Pandya.

In the second innings, Wankhede saw a mix of emotions as Pandya walked in to bat. First, as Rohit Sharma was getting off the pitch after being dismissed, you could hear a ring of boos that continued as Hardik took his guard.

A whirlwind batting performance powered the Mumbai Indians to a stunning seven-wicket win over RCB in one-sided affair.

Chasing 198 for victory, Ishan Kishan smacked 69 off 34 balls and then Suryakumar Yadav smacked 52 off only 19 balls as Mumbai crossed the finish line in 15.3 overs.

It finished with 199-3 in reply to Bengaluru’s 196-8 in 20 overs with Dinesh Karthik scoring 53 not out off 26 balls.
