India’s biggest fashion event, Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI, is back in Mumbai for its 49th edition, promising a week of dazzling displays, innovative collaborations, and rising stars. From March 13 to 17, the Jio World Convention Center will transform into a hub of creativity, showcasing the latest trends in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle.

A fusion of fashion and sport kicks off the week

The opening evening sets the tone for an electrifying experience. Witness an innovative blend of fashion and sport as two polo teams engage in a friendly match. The event culminates in a captivating showcase by renowned polo brand La Martina, featuring a special capsule collection designed by the visionary Rajesh Pratap Singh. This unique collaboration promises to redefine the boundaries between style and athleticism.

Streetwear takes center stage

This season, Lakme Fashion Week x FDCI embraces the growing craze for street style with ‘All You Can Street’ showcase their collection on Day 1. Additionally, a multinational footwear and apparel company, Skechers, will collaborate with a celebrated Indian designer, presenting a quirky collection that puts streetwear at its heart.

For menswear aficionados, GQ joins forces with FDCI to showcase an all-men’s street collection featuring emerging designers like Jaywalking, Countrymade, and Rishtha by Arjun Saluja.

Fashion meets beauty trends and sustainability

The Atelier kicks off with a first-of-its-kind presentation — Lakme presents LFW Edition: Fashion X Beauty Trends. Curated by Perclers Paris, this trend magazine highlights the eagerly anticipated 2024-25 global trends in fashion, beauty, design, and lifestyle.

Sustainability remains a key focus, with India’s biggest sustainability award, R|Elan presents Circular Design Challenge showcasing the winning collection of its global edition.
