With Deepika-Ranveer all ready to welcome their baby, a look back at their best fashion moments

One of Bollywood’s most beloved couples — Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh — have continuously captivated audiences with their talent and sizzling chemistry. And now that the duo has announced their pregnancy on social media, all their fans and followers cannot help but go gaga over the aww-dorable news.

As the two megastars expect their first child, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and revisit their most memorable fashion moments of all time.

Love first blossomed between Ranveer and Deepika on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela in 2012. After starring in two more blockbusters, Bajirao Mastani (2015) and Padmaavat (2018), the couple tied the knot in two intimate ceremonies — a Konkani and Sindhi wedding — at Lake Como, Italy in November 2018. For the Konkani-style ceremony, Deepika paid homage to her roots in a Kanjeevaram sari from Sabyasachi, while Ranveer opted for a white and gold sherwani from the same designer.

Meanwhile, for the Sindhi-style ceremony, Deepika looked gorgeous in a red lehenga. On the other hand, Ranveer complemented her in a red sherwani with a matching turban.

After their grand wedding, the Bollywood power couple held a reception in Bengaluru where they looked like royalty. Deepika dressed in a golden sari gifted to her by her mother from Angadi Galleria, paired with a heavy emerald and diamond jewellery set. Ranveer, too, looked regal in a black sherwani featuring intricate golden embroidery designed by Rohit Bal.

For their fourth reception in Mumbai, Deepika and Ranveer made a glamourous appearance in red and black ensembles, respectively. Deepika sported a custom-made, shimmery red gown from Zuhair Murad, accessorised with a matching sheer veil and red strappy heels. Ranveer contrasted Deepika’s look perfectly in a black embroidered tuxedo worn with a white shirt and black bowtie. His nerdy glasses completed his look.

Celebrating their second anniversary, the actors shared heartwarming photographs to mark the day. They were seen wearing outfits from Sabyasachi, much like their wedding day. Deepika opted for a floral-printed ensemble with a matching dupatta, featuring the designer’s iconic motifs, while Ranveer twinned with her in a matching kurta and waistcoat.

At the grand opening of NMACC in Mumbai, Deepika and Ranveer donned Anamika Khanna’s designs. Deepika looked exquisite in a gold zardozi embroidered pantsuit, featuring pearl and emerald accents. Her ensemble was attached with a floor-length cape, giving it a dramatic flair. Complementing his wife, Ranveer chose an ivory embroidered silk achkan with an asymmetrical hem. He paired it with a diamond necklace.

The couple also walked the ramp for Manish Malhotra at the Jio World Convention Centre dressed in ethereal ensembles. Deepika donned a stunning lehenga adorned with an intricate chikankari design and glitzy highlights. As for Ranveer, he looked dapper in a black sherwani with elaborate white floral motifs.

For last year’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations held at the Ambani residence, the couple made a sartorial entrance in traditional attire. Ranveer opted for a dark green kurta and matching churidar, completed with a red embroidered dupatta, brown mojris, and golden baalis. Deepika, on the other hand, wore a lovely crimson red kurta with golden threadwork and a matching velvet salwar. Her statement ruby earrings and pointed heels completed her look.

Last but not least, Deepika and Ranveer appeared on the latest season of Koffee with Karan in colour-coordinated outfits. Deepika looked elegant in a body-hugging black dress, whereas Ranveer kept it suave in a black blazer paired with matching pants.
