Under the warm Goan sun, actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani embarked on a new chapter in their lives, exchanging vows in a dreamy beach wedding ceremony. Their attire, custom-designed by the renowned designer Tarun Tahiliani, reflected their individual personalities and blended seamlessly with the picturesque setting.

Singh’s bridal lehenga was a vision of ethereal elegance, crafted in a palette of soft pastel pinks and ivories. Intricate hand-embroidered floral motifs adorned the lehenga, adding a touch of three-dimensional whimsy. Sheer tulle sleeves adorned with cascading pearls and crystals added a touch of modern romance, while the structured veil, embellished with delicate stars and Swarovski crystals, resembled a waterfall of flowers. This exquisite creation by Tarun Tahiliani beautifully captured Singh’s desire for a modern yet timeless bridal look.

Completing her ensemble was a selection of heavy polki jewellery, adding a touch of traditional grandeur. Her makeup choices further emphasised the minimalist trend, opting for a dewy base and soft pink lips, setting a new standard for spring brides seeking a natural and elegant look.

Bhagnani, complementing his bride in his own sartorial statement, donned an ivory chikankari sherwani. The intricate “chinar” motif, meticulously hand-embroidered over a period of six months, showcased the dedication and artistry poured into this unique piece. The ensemble also featured Tahiliani’s signature pleated stole, adding a touch of his iconic style. Each detail, from the delicate chikankari work using silk threads to the authentic zardozi embellishments, paid homage to the rich cultural heritage and craftsmanship of Kashmir.

The plunging neckline kurta paired with sharara pants and a semi-sheer dupatta exuded a contemporary yet sophisticated vibe, further accentuated by a statement gold and emerald choker.

Both Singh and Bhagnani’s wedding attire choices not only reflected their individual personalities but also showcased the beauty and elegance of traditional Indian wedding wear.
