‘Disaster!’: Rashmika Mandanna reacts to fashion critic calling out her daytime smokey eye look at Milan Fashion Week

Rashmika Mandanna has been brushing shoulders with the who’s and who of fashion at the Milan Fashion Week. Not only was the Animal actor spotted talking to South Korean star Woo Do-Hwan, she was also spotted sitting first row at Onitsuka Tiger’s show in a head to toe black ensemble channeling her inner goth. However, what got the netizens talking was her sultry smokey eye, sported while the sun was still out in the European city.

Digital creator and fashion critic page ‘Diet Sabya’ took to social media to throw shade at the actor’s makeup look, “Not to be a hater but the smokey eye with this look was definitely a choice that too for a day show? Like no one is wearing smokey eye in the day babe that too in Milan!!”.

While a lot of celebrities and their fashion moments have been at the receiving end of Diet Sabya’s scathing remarks, Mandanna chose to take this quip in stride. The actor’s hair stylist Priyanka Borkar shared a video snippet on her Instagram stories where they were discussing the critic’s roast.

Tanvi Chembukar, makeup artist, can be heard saying, “Yes, I did a smokey eye in day time in Milan. Baap re!”, to which Mandanna was seen playfully yelling “disaster!” in response to the remark. Despite this fun banter, netizens seemed to really appreciate the look, and left comments underneath her post ranging from “Eyes on fleek” to “need a tutorial on these eyes” in appreciation.

Mandanna’s black ensemble included a cosy trench coat with sequinned panels, and a zipper at front. She paired mesh black stockings with pointed pumps. A spiky bun with face framing tendrils, sharp arched brows, nude lips and silver toned earrings added a hint of drama to her look. Dark nail paint and lots of cocktail rings adorned her fingers.
