Peek inside Sonakshi Sinha’s sea-facing Bandra home where she married Zaheer Iqbal

Following her recent wedding to Zaheer Iqbal at her home, actor Sonakshi Sinha is reportedly putting the lavish Bandra West apartment up for sale. The news surfaced after a real estate Instagram account shared a video showcasing the stunning sea-facing property.

The 4,000-square-foot apartment, featuring a private elevator and interiors valued at Rs 5 crore, is listed for a whopping Rs 25 crore. Sonakshi had previously given fans a virtual tour of the home for Architectural Digest, highlighting its wraparound terraces and panoramic city and sea views.

The Heeramandi actor purchased the apartment in March 2020 and later acquired another unit in the same building for Rs 11 crore. Her decision to sell the original apartment comes after her wedding and may be part of a new chapter in her life.

Sinha’s soon-to-be former residence is a stunning blend of contemporary design and earthy aesthetics. The home’s entrance, a tasteful vestibule doubling as Sinha’s art studio, sets the tone for the rest of the space.

The interior is characterised by its expansive layout, featuring terraces on both sides that offer breathtaking views of the city and sea. A unique feature is the massive moving wall that separates the bedroom from the dressing room, providing privacy and flexibility.

One of the standout elements of the apartment is the conversation pit, a modern interpretation of a 70s design trend. Sinha, a fan of this cosy seating arrangement, recently also entertained her friends Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal in this space.

The apartment’s versatility is further showcased by a hidden Murphy bed concealed behind Wedgwood blue panels. This innovative design transforms the dressing room into a guest bedroom when needed, demonstrating how Murphy beds can be seamlessly integrated into adult spaces.
