Anant Ambani’s stunning brooches will take your breath away; here’s a quick look at his collection

During the recently concluded wedding celebrations of the Ambani family, it was not just the women who stole the stole. The man of the moment, Anant Ambani did too. No, we are not talking about his emeralds and rubies encrusted silk sherwani, or his Nehru jacket embellished with Swarovski and nakshi handwork; today, we are here to talk about his outstanding (read: super expensive) brooch collection.

We are sure that got you excited, so without wasting any time let’s take a look at some of these pieces that did the heavy (quite literally) lifting when it came to his style.

For his pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar, Anant Ambani wore a “vivid yellow diamond lion brooch” by Lorraine Schwartz.

The brooch was lion-shaped and featured a huge drop of diamond attached to its mouth and emerald-set eyes.

In an exclusive interview with Forbes, Schwartz said: “The mane, though, is made of many different shades of yellow diamonds to give it texture and dimension. There was a 50+ carat colorless white diamond hanging from the mouth and the eyes are made of emeralds, which are known to be a spiritual stone with healing powers and good luck. Also, the lion is standing on a platform made of Asscher cut white diamond which symbolizes grounding.”

For his wedding in Mumbai, Anant Ambani wore a brooch featuring an “impressive emerald and diamond design” with a classic Cartier Panther crouched on a “large boulder-shaped emerald weighing 720 carats” by Heeramaneck & Son.

“The Zambian emerald is an exquisite 720-carat cut specially for this brooch. The crouched panther, comprising of the highest quality diamonds, complements the colour, lustre and magnificent size of the emerald perfectly,” shared the jeweller.

They also mentioned that this brooch was made specially for Ambani because it signifies his love for animals.

For his baarat, Anant Ambani was seen wearing a humongous elephant brooch made entirely of diamonds.
