Nita Ambani made a captivating statement at her son Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant on Friday. She donned a masterpiece of a necklace, meticulously crafted from over 1,000 hours of work and drawing upon her very own collection of exceptional gems, her jewellers, Kantilal Chhotalal said.

The centrepiece of this stunning creation was a magnificent 100-carat yellow diamond, personally chosen by Ambani herself, who is also a renowned collector and connoisseur of jewellery. This dazzling stone was paired with an 80-carat emerald-cut diamond, another treasure from her private collection.

Sharing an up-close look at the jewels on Instagram, the jewellers Kantilal Chhotalal shared these exquisite diamonds were further accentuated by custom-cut diamonds in the Mughal portrait-cut style, a design element that paid homage to India’s rich jewellery-making heritage.

Five cascading rows of brilliant solitaires completed the necklace, their brilliance cascading down and amplifying the warmth of the central yellow diamond.

The ensemble was further complemented by a set of Nizami earrings adorned with stones from the Reliance Foundation chairperson’s personal collection, echoing the central diamond’s warm yellow hue. A pear-shaped diamond tikka and delicate diamond hairpins added the finishing touches, creating a look of unparalleled elegance and regality.

By incorporating pieces from her personal collection, Nita transformed these treasured stones into wearable works of art.

For those who don’t know, Isha Ambani was also outfitted in a rare diamond necklace from the jewellers for Anant’s wedding ceremony.

At the center of Isha’s ensemble lay a captivating masterpiece — a necklace featuring a heart-shaped blue diamond as its crown jewel. This stunning stone is embraced by a bed of meticulously cut portrait diamonds, each resembling a tiny work of art.

The necklace was made of rare pink, blue, green and orange diamonds. Each piece took over 4,000 hours to make, according to Kantilal Chhotalal.

The necklace unfolds like a vibrant floral explosion. White portrait-cut diamonds morph into vibrant heart shapes, each bursting with colour like miniature flames. Delicate butterflies, crafted from a mesmerising array of rare diamonds, appear to flutter upon petals that shimmer with a rose-cut brilliance.
