Diljit Dosanjh’s 1.2cr watch and desi ensemble steal the spotlight on Jimmy Fallon’s show

Chamkila star Diljit Dosanjh is having the time of his life right now. Between belting out hit performances at Coachella and Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebration to hitting it out of the park with amazing films, the Indian singer found himself making The Tonight Show debut last night.

Dosanjh wore a traditional Punjabi outfit consisting of a classic white kurta and dhoti, a black vest– which he later ditched during the performance on-stage, and his trademark pair of black and white Nike Air Force contrasting his outfit. A pristine white turban added just the right amount of flair to his US television debut.

For accessories, Dosanjh opted for a pearl necklace, golden hoop earrings, and black aviators, but the real star of his ensemble was a diamond studded Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.

The stainless steel and rose gold self-winding watch belongs to the 41mm model and is valued at a whopping 1.2 crores. According to Diet Sabya’s Instagram stories, Jain the Jeweler customised the piece for the artist.

Dosanjh’s performance was historic to say the least, marking the first time a Punjabi singer was seen on US live television. The singer set the stage on fire with his popular tunes G.O.A.T and Born to Shine, and the audience could not keep calm.

The Crew actor was seen hanging out with Jimmy Fallon backstage, teaching the host Punjabi. Dosanjh folded his hands together and bowed in reverence to the Punjabi greeting ‘Sat Sri Akal’ and Fallon followed in cue. In the video, they were also seen swapping gloves in a show of banter and camaraderie. Adding to the fun, Priyanka Chopra commented, “It’s the Oye for me.”
