The 77th Cannes Film Festival has been dazzling, not only with cinematic brilliance but also with a vibrant display of fashion. This year, Indian celebrities have been stealing the show, turning heads on the red carpet with stunning ensembles that celebrate both global trends and rich Indian heritage.

Kiara Advani, who made her debut at Cannes this year, graced the red carpet on Saturday in a show-stopping ensemble as she attended the Women In Cinema gala, organised by the Red Sea Film Festival, and co-hosted by Vanity Fair Europe.

Kiara’s look channelled classic old Hollywood glamour. She donned a breathtaking black and pink gown by luxury designer Nedret Taciroglu. The dress featured a delicate satin fabric, a flattering corset detail, and an elegant off-the-shoulder neckline. The figure-hugging silhouette accentuated her curves, leading to a dramatic black velvet fishtail hemline and a flowing train.

Embracing the 2024 fashion trend, the gown boasted an oversized pink duchess satin bow at the back, adding a touch of whimsy and drama. The overall effect was a perfect blend of grace and sophistication, reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn’s timeless style.

In an appearance earlier on Saturday, Kiara had decked out in a gorgeous orange-coloured floor-length dress from the label Alaïa.

History was made on day four of the 77th Cannes Film Festival when singer-songwriter and rapper King became the first-ever Indian pop artist to walk the prestigious red carpet. King radiated charisma and confidence, striding down the red carpet in a stunning silk blazer by renowned Indian designer Anamika Khanna.

“I wanted to wear an Indian designer and bring a part of my country along with me. The fabric and the work on my outfit gives you a proud touch of our talented handloom industry,” King told ANI.

Aishwarya Rai’s red carpet looks at Cannes have been garnerning mixed reactions from netizens but it was her non red-carpet look, which seemed to be getting all the love. The former Miss World was spotted at her hotel’s balcony, spending quality time with her daughter Aaradhya in a blue-hued jacket, embellished with flowers and embroidered throughout. She paired the jacket with a white shirt and jeans.

Sobhita Dhulipala doubled down on the glamour at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. Following her debut in a shimmering jumpsuit, the actress donned a breathtaking golden gown for the Magnum party.

This captivating creation by Indian label Itrh featured a jersey base, a plunging neckline, and a cascade of dazzling crystal embellishments. The ensemble exuded elegance and style, perfectly capturing Sobhita’s radiant personality. Sharing pictures on Instagram, she aptly described herself as “prancing about like a gilded dragon.” This dazzling look cemented Sobhita’s status as a red carpet force at Cannes 2024.
