Ukrainian drones attacked Russia's only oil refinery on the Black Sea coast on Friday morning, authorities said.

The attack on the Rosneft-owned oil refinery in the southern Russian town of Tuapse was reported by local authorities, who said a fire broke out on the territory of the facility, and that emergency services were working to extinguish the blaze.

"According to preliminary information, there are no casualties," the operational headquarters of Russia's Krasnodar region said on Telegram, calling the incident an attempted "terrorist attack."

A Russian Black Sea naval port in Novorossiysk and Crimea's Sevastopol were also targeted in the massive aerial assault, which Russia's defense ministry said involved at least 100 drones.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
