WATCH: Angry at fan, Cristiano Ronaldo’s obscene gesture with Al-Hilal shirt after losing Riyadh Season Cup

Five-time Ballon D’or winner Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t been one to subdue his emotions. Over the recent years, the Portuguese footballer has been involved in heated exchanges on and off the field and one such incident transpired on Thursday night after the Riyadh Season Cup.

Featuring for Al Nassr in the Riyadh Season Cup final, Ronaldo was unable to inspire his side to a win as Al-Hilal emerged victorious on the night with a 2-0 margin.

However, just as Ronaldo was walking back towards the ground tunnel, an Al-Hilal shirt was thrown by a fan from the stands in the direction of the Portuguese, who picked it up and responded back with an obscene gesture towards the fan. Here’s the video:

Having bested Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami 6-0 in the absence of their full-time captain, Al Nassr fell short of claiming a second title with the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward.

Upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia midway through the 2022/23 season, Ronaldo had netted 14 goals from 16 games. This season, the club captain has as many as 30 goals and 11 assists to his name.

However, Al Nassr still sit second in the points table, seven points behind Al-Hilal after 19 appearances each.

Earlier on Thursday, ahead of the summit clash between the two Saudi Pro League sides, the occasion had been made even more so memorable with the presence of WWE superstar Undertaker at the pre-match ceremony, lifting the Riyadh Cup trophy.
