Australia will begin their 2024-25 season when they tour the United Kingdom to take on Scotland and England in limited-overs series in September.

The Aussies will stop over in Edinburgh first where they will take on Scotland in three T20Is. It will be followed by three T20Is against England, starting September 11, before the teams clash in five ODIs.

Australia last played in the T20 World Cup in the West Indies in June, where they failed to make it past the Super 8 stage. Meanwhile, England’s T20I side suffered a semi-final exit at the hands of eventual champions India in the tournament and has not played since.

England’s Test side whitewashed West Indies 3-0 in this period and currently lead a three-match Test series against Sri Lanka 1-0.

England announced their squads for the Australia series on Monday, highlighting few major changes and the inclusion of multiple rookies.
