The Paris Olympics is entering its seventh day of sporting action, and a bunch of World and Olympic records have already been broken by athletes across events.

While certain athletes set a fresh benchmark, a few accomplished stars rewrote their own records from previous Olympic appearances.

Ahead of August 1’s action in Paris, two World Records and 17 Olympic Records have been rewritten. Here is a sport-wise look at the records broken at the Games so far:

ARCHERY

Three Archery records have been set in Paris, including a World Record effort in the women’s individual event. South Korea’s Lim Si-hyeon set a World Record score of 694 on July 25.
