Kia ora, good evening and welcome to Newshub's live coverage of the ACT Brumbies v Highlanders Super Rugby Pacific quarter-final at Canberra's GIO Stadium.

The southerners have probably surprised a few with their appearance in the playoffs, after sinking near the bottom of the table mid-season. 

Their southern derby victory over the Crusaders probably highlighted their campaign and they have certainly shown they are better than the sum of their parts. Another key was finally finding a first-five up to Super Rugby standard, with Cam Millar returning after a couple of weeks off tonight.

The Brumbies are generally clinical at home and have already beaten the Highlanders at Dunedin this season.
