Watch: Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s heartwarming speech in changing room after losing close game against Rajasthan Royals

On Tuesday Rajasthan Royals (RR) player Jos Buttler arguably played the innings of the tournament against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. The Englishmen took the Royals to victory from an improbable situation breaking the hearts of the Kolkata team and fans. However, after the game, the KKR co-owner would give a heartwarming speech to the side in the changing room.

“There are days in our lives in sports, especially when we don’t deserve to lose and there are days we don’t deserve to win. But days are like that which turns things around. Today we didn’t deserve to lose all of us played extremely well. We have to be very proud of ourselves,” Shah Rukh Khan would say.

“Please don’t feel sad or down feel as happy as we feel whenever we come to the changing room and we are on a high so maintain the high. the main thing is the energy in all of us And I think we have great energy on the field. We have lovely energy here. Personally, also everybody is bonding together. So please continue so. All the best honestly it’s a very proud day the way we all played. I think all of us won’t take individual names, that’s been taken.” he added.

He would also tell Gautam Gambhir not to feel disheartened after the loss. “GG you don’t feel down. We would all be bouncing back. It’s god’s plan for today as Rinku says I think this is what we would like them. We’ll be back with more and better god’s plans.”

Buttler steals the thunder

Buttler notched up his second century of this edition of the IPL and grabbed the headlines from Sunil Narine to help the Royals win by two wickets off the final ball. Earlier in the tournament he did a similar feat against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Virat Kohli in the first week of April. Kohli’s unbeaten century was countered by Buttler’s. Tonight Narine’s ton went in vain as Buttler remained unconquered on 107.
