Interestingly, a closer look revealed a similar sari worn by Deepika Padukone from the same designer’s collection.

Padukone’s black sari also sported a gold sequinned border and a unique detail on the pallu, though subtle differences in the material and the pallu’s work distinguished the two ensembles.
