Chef Shipra Khanna likes to begin her mornings by sipping on the “golden goodness of raw turmeric tea”. “To kickstart my morning with a burst of anti-inflammatory power and a boost for the day ahead,” she said in a post on Instagram.

According to Khanna, raw turmeric is known for its potential health benefits. “It contains curcumin, a compound with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Raw turmeric may help reduce inflammation, support joint health, boost immunity, and have potential anti-cancer properties. You can add jaggery or coconut sugar if you like your tea sweet,” shared Khanna.

*Boil some water.
*Once boiled, switch off the flame.
*Grate some raw turmeric. Let it steep.
*Strain it. Enjoy!
