Have you ever looked at a dumpling and thought, “I wish my skin was as plump and bouncy as that?” It may sound weird, and we don’t blame you, but in the world of skincare trends, nothing is too weird in the pursuit of beauty and wellness. And if it’s a Korean trend, how wrong can it be? In case you missed it, the internet is hooked on to the latest skincare trend that promises plump, bouncy skin—resembling the smooth texture of a dumpling—and we can’t keep calm.

Raghav Katariya, founder of Himaira, said that the term “dewy dumpling skin” draws inspiration from the glossy, plump surface of dumplings. “The idea is to replicate the dumpling’s glow on the face, achieving a dewy effect that mimics the look of steamed dumplings,” he said.

According to him, the dewy dumpling K-beauty skin is all about that super hydrated, plump, and glowing complexion that makes your skin look like a juicy dumpling. “Think of it as having that radiant, bouncy, and dewy finish that gives your skin a youthful and fresh appearance. It’s all about that natural, lit-from-within glow!”
