Sonakshi Sinha looks lovely in embroidered ivory sari for wedding with Zaheer Iqbal

​Finally, Zaheer Iqbal-Sonakshi Sinha are man and wife. Amid much speculation, the actors — who have worked together in Double XL — tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends at her Mumbai residence.

For one of the most special days in her life, the Dabangg actor wore an embroidered ivory sari with a simple matching blouse. According to reports, Sonakshi wore her mother, Poonam Sinha’s, hand-embroidered ivory sari. She teamed the six yards with a simple striped blouse. In keeping with the colour theme of her outfit, Sonakshi Sinha wore a diamond and pearl choker with matching earrings and kadas. Tying her hair in a neat bun, she adorned it with a gajra, and completed the look with barely-there makeup. A shiny silver bindi added the perfect finishing touches.

The groom complemented his bride in an embroidered kurta-pajama set, and added an element of bling to his look with a golden watch.

The couple shared pictures from the wedding on Instagram and wrote: “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever ❤️ Sonakshi ♾️ Zaheer 23.06.2024.

It is believed that the couple first met at a party hosted by Salman Khan; a chance encounter which blossomed into love.
