Review: Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman together on the big screen in May December

Based loosely on a real-life tabloid story, the brilliant Julianne Moore is Gracie, a wife and mother married to a man 23 years her junior.   

Joe was just 13 years old when they met, she was jailed and gave birth to their first child behind bars. 

Twenty years later, with three children, a film is being made about their lives and Natalie Portman's Elizabeth knocks on their door. 

It's a story that explores uncomfortable themes with a canny eye and is supported by such rich performances.
