Nearly 30 years on from divorce, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson set to 'remarry' - report

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson will reportedly rekindle their marriage after divorcing nearly 30 years ago. 

The Duke of York divorced from Ferguson in 1996 but reports have suggested they will give it another go within the next few years. 

Prince Andrew and Ferguson first married in 1986 and had two children - Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie - before they separated. 

According to an unnamed friend of Prince Andrew, speaking to The Daily Beast, the pair "live in the same house... spend all their time together, they adore the children, they don't ever argue". 

The source suggested it seemed "inevitable now that they will just formalise it within a few years and remarry".   

It comes after Ferguson was a surprise addition to the royal party as they attended church on Christmas day. 

Ferguson was with the family for the Christmas service for the first time since she and Prince Andrew separated, in what was seen as a sign of goodwill from King Charles. 

Prince Andrew, meanwhile, has been embroiled in controversy in recent years.  

He was accused by US woman Virginia Giuffre of sexually abusing her as a teenager and was subsequently sued in New York, although the Duke settled the matter out of court last year.  

Prince Andrew repeatedly denied Giuffre's accusations he forced her to have sex more than two decades ago at a London home of former Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, as well as abusing her at two of Epstein's properties.
