Fast and Furious star Ludacris to play New Zealand's Juicy Fest 2025

Fast and Furious star Ludacris is to perform music at the New Zealand leg of Juicy Fest in January next year.

The actor plays Tej Parker in the Vin Diesel-fronted action saga.

Ludacris has won three Grammy Awards in his music career and has been nominated for 20. His back catalogue includes hits like 'What's Your Fantasy', 'Pimpin' All Over The World' and 'Standup'.

'So Lonely' star Akon, Tyga, Keyshia Cole, Omarion, Fat Joe, SWV, Blackstreet and Jacquees will also be part of the 2025 line-up for Juicy Fest.

The first of four scheduled shows will begin in Christchurch on January 8, 2025, before heading to Wellington for January 10.

The tour will continue in Auckland on January 11 and conclude in Tauranga on January 12, before heading to Australia for four shows. 

In a statement, Juicy Fest co-promoter Glenn Meikle said he was looking forward to seeing how New Zealand responded to the acts.

"Every year we are excited to bring another line-up to New Zealand and we believe we've come up with a high calibre group of artists that people will be excited to see."

Tickets go on sale from Thursday, May 2.
